Indeed….. but it is hard to imagine that the UAE are going to play the role of India in the T-50 programme & start a fresh 5th-gen design from scratch.

I doubt the UAE would be into a 15+ year potential money pit.

Seeing as Sukhoi & Migoyan are now part of the same corporate entity I wouldn’t be surprised if they use UAE money to help finish the T-50/PAK-FA & then leverage some of this technology into the Mig-35 & call it a job done….

To me at least it would seem like an error to get involved in a ‘start-from’scratch’ project with Russia.
