On the contrary, the very rich are often engaged in the conspicuous pursuit of health – dieticians, personal trainers, “clean” eating, detoxes, etc. – because health is widely perceived to be synonymous with having a certain type of body. Unless we’re talking some playboy waster pursuing a racing career, I‘m pretty sure driving at speed is not class or wealth specific; likewise painkillers are as cheap as chips.
Actual health is a crapshoot but being able to afford decent healthcare, should a serious and/or long term problem arise, is entirely dependent on having the money to pay for it, particularly in the US.
