Review: Creep 2004

“Creep” (2004) (not to be confused with the completely different 2014 movie by the same name) is incredible, it’s truly terrifying, totally twisted, and I loved every minute of it. This is yet another movie that critics didn’t like, but you will also find it on many “underrated movies” lists, so certainly there are others like me who can appreciate the awesomeness that it has to offer. Set in the underground train tunnels of London, “Creep” (2004) utilizes it’s already eerie surroundings, and throws in a revolting, barely-human, twisted, monster of a killer! Add that to the fact that the protagonist is totally trapped for the night, and I don’t see how can anyone deny the sheer terror… This movie delivers, I don’t care what anyone says, it delivers on so many levels. I so rarely find horror movies genuinely frightening anymore (and that’s okay, there’s much more to horror than being scary), but I thought this one was actually scary! “Creep” also delivers the gore, and it delivers the deliciously disgusting and the twisted! I loved it and I know I’m just one of many who saw the awesome in this underrated gem.
