Night Walks

I am one of those people who will walk aimlessly at night. I will leave my home never before ten, and walk for never more than an hour. I embrace the idea that is is dark outside, and as such very few other people will be around. I avoid them not like the plague, but rather like a puddle. I could walk through the puddle, but it is just as easy to avoid it. At night I get to see a different face of the world, one with fewer bells and whistles. When I walk at night I can think clear, and see things for what they are. Life’s constant distractions are blanketed in shadows, which constantly flicker and dance with the streetlights. Night is when the world is at it’s simplest, and thats just the way I like it.
