Disregarding technological inertia that eventually guarantees “bottom-up” paradigm shifts, danger is the only catalyst that will force any semblance of top-down change.

There exists an amalgam of forces currently increasing geopolitical transparency. When you add those to the increasing decentralization of ephemeralization and the imminent implosion of commodified energy scarcity — you arrive at some pretty hopeful predictions that things may get better rather quickly.
