Meet Jonny Imerman, a 42-year-old, (mostly) Chicago-based socially conscious entrepreneur and a testicular cancer survivor. At the young age of 26, Jonny was diagnosed with testicular cancer after experiencing crazy pain in his left testicle. After rounds of chemotherapy and surgeries, he feels blessed to be living the good life — and now, he’s helping others just like him.

His biggest takeaway from his cancer battle is to “Be kind. Give back. Care about social causes and do something — even if it’s small, do something positive for the world and people and living animals. Life is short. Enjoy the journey! Today!” As for his advice to men, he says, “Check your balls 1x/mo in a hot shower and it could save your life! TIME MATTERS! Anything found early is pretty much curable! BE WELL good people!!”

Today, you can find Jonny spreading his positive vibes in a big truck in the Chicago area, raising awareness for great causes through a company he co-founded called CLOZTALK, premium apparel that raises awareness and funds for positive social-impact causes at no cost to them. He also co-founded the 1-on-1 peer support network for families fighting cancer, Imerman Angels.

After being diagnosed with cancer so young and never meeting anyone his age who was a cancer survivor. He wanted to talk to someone just like him, someone who truly understood and remembered — someone who had already faced the same type of cancer. Today, Imerman Angels provides that gift for cancer fighters. Imerman Angels introduces each cancer fighter to one survivor who’s the same age, gender, and someone who has already faced that particular type of cancer.

Thank you, Jonny, for the incredible work you’ve done and are continuing to do to help people. From your positive spirit that uplifts everyone you meet to the extraordinary impact your organizations have made for people fighting battles every day. Follow @imermanjonny and show his new venture some love, @CLOZTALK!
