The Simulation Program at the University of South Alabama provides multi-disciplinary simulation learning opportunities at its 5 locations in the Mobile and Baldwin County area. It’s extensive inventory of partial task trainers and high fidelity human patient simulators create an optimal learning environment designed to improve technical skills, clinical judgment, decision making, communication, and teamwork.
During the Human Patient Simulation Network (HPSN) Southern Regional SimDay, attendees will explore ways to refine clinical training and practice to improve competency, teamwork, and safety in preparation for the clinical setting.
#hpsnSimDay attendees will have the opportunity to tour the simulation center and ask faculty direct questions about their program and use of simulation for training benefit.
