My dad was humming a spiritual Christmas hymn the other day but could not remember the lyrics:

1. Googled the title and lyrics, got three pages
2. Copied links to all three in an email
3. Copied the lyrics to a new Note and saved
4. Downloaded the app to print to an HP printer and printed the note for him, then told him Kenny Rogers and Johnny Cash had both sung that hymn before — and links to the videos were in his email.

The next day in the afternoon he was back puttering around when I heard the Johnny Cash video cue up and my dad singing along with the words I’d printed out for him.

He was ecstatic. It took me all of five minutes.
