Reflections on my first week of EEM

One of the most important learning for me is the importance of entrepreneurial ecosystems and their impact on the rate of entrepreneurial success.

In addition to having the right idea, and the determination to launch and continuously improve their new business and products, entrepreneurs need to be able to find the best ecosystem to improve their likelihood of success. It is possible that Facebook would never grow so strongly and so quickly without the founders deciding to move to Silicon Valley, where they met a number of important people whose perspective, knowledge, investment and experience help launched the company better.

Going forward, I will find and test the strength of the available and accessible entrepreneur ecosystem where I can position my next ventures. Moreover, it will also be interesting to develop a map of accessible entrepreneurial ecosystems, and if possible, to develop a virtual ecosystem by linking available resources in a new network for entrepreneurs in areas with no good ecosystems, especially in the emerging markets.
