Help us celebrate 10 years of impact

With an alumni network of more than 8,700 young leaders, we want to hear from you!

Clinton Global Initiative University started in October of 2007 with a simple belief that no one is too young to make a difference. In the decade since, our meetings have brought more than 8,700 college students from 150 countries together to turn ideas into action on campus, in the community, and around the world. Whether developing an online platform to help foster youth or creating safe havens for victims of gender-based violence in Pakistan, CGI U students have tackled overwhelming obstacles head-on and created innovative solutions that are improving lives across the globe.

That is why CGI U is creating a roster of extraordinary alumni who over the past decade have made a significant impact through their CGI U Commitments to Action or their careers. It will be made up of individuals who are dedicating their lives to taking on complex local and global challenges and finding new ways to make the world a better place.

If you know a former CGI U student doing inspiring work, or if you are one yourself, we want to hear from you. Students selected will be featured by CGI U and may have the opportunity to join us at our next CGI U meeting, October 13–15, 2017 at Northeastern University in Boston.

After ten inspiring years of working with the next generation of leaders at CGI U, it’s hard not to believe that a future of shared opportunities is within our grasp. As we reflect on CGI U’s first decade, we want to see just how far you’ve all come.

About CGI U
The Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U), established in 2007 by President Clinton, brings together college students to discuss and address global challenges with practical, innovative solutions by making Commitments to Action. Through its annual meeting and ongoing programmatic support, CGI U supports students in their efforts to create action plans, build relationships, participate in hands-on workshops, and follow up as they complete their projects.
CGI U is proof that young people have the power to make a significant impact by confronting some of the world’s most urgent challenges.
