Recently, CGV officially announced a strategic investment in Zulu Network, a Layer 2 network that empowers universal access to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Zulu Network adopts a unique dual-layer architecture design. As a Bitcoin Layer 2 platform, it achieves EVM compatibility, enabling the deployment of powerful DeFi applications on the Bitcoin network and directly unlocking the value of assets such as BTC and BRC20 tokens. ZuluNexus, serving as a Layer 3 platform, employs a hybrid virtual machine design that simultaneously supports UTXO and account types. This design preserves Bitcoin’s capabilities while adding extra functionality, allowing developers to explore new innovative possibilities. ZuluPrime and ZuluNexus are seamlessly bridged, enabling rapid asset transfers.

Zulu Network’s innovative solution brings new functionality to the Bitcoin blockchain and the broader decentralized finance space: making the dream of BitFi a reality while maintaining the inherent security, reliability, and functionality of the Bitcoin network.

Steve, the founder of CGV, believes that Zulu Network’s innovative dual-layer network structure within the Bitcoin ecosystem not only provides users with more stable and innovative services but also offers tremendous value and potential for DeFi applications. The EVM compatibility and smart contract functionality of ZuluPrime, along with the hybrid design of UTXO and account types in ZuluNexus, represent new directions for the future development of the Bitcoin ecosystem.

More investment updates from CGV will be announced in the near future. Stay tuned for exciting content.
