Shortlisted: Newcastle City Council

The Safer Partying Campaign came out of growing concerns that students were placing themselves in danger by organising large scale parties in terraced houses. At times up to 300 hundred students attended these parties. The aim of the project was to raise awareness by producing 6 short films with various outcomes such as a fatality and a fire. This project was led by Newcastle City Council and incorporated all the blue light emergency services. It was funded by Public Health and launched at a press release on the 25th April 2017.
