The Connected Intelligence Foundation (CIF) hosts the premier gathering place for those who want to make meaningful connections in the Internet of Things space. The meet-up brings together executives and technical leaders from multi-billion dollar companies to mid-sized firms to early stage businesses. This meeting is recognized as THE place for business development, sales leads, intelligence and networking for IoT in the mid-west.

CIF is the outgrowth of the Internet of Things Chicago Meet-Up that began in February 2014 and has grown to be the largest IoT group in the Midwest with over 1,800 interested participants from throughout the region — primarily greater Chicago.

Founded by Brian Gratch and Rohit Pasam, co-founders of Xaptum, Connected Intelligence Foundation is a community platform for companies & organizations to share ideas and promote IoT related initiatives throughout North America and globally. CIF efforts cover the entire spectrum of IoT from devices, connectivity, message handling, enterprise software, big data and deep learning.

The Connected Intelligence Foundation has members from leading organizations such as SAP, Nokia, Microsoft, American Family Insurance, Chamberlain Group, GE Capital, Siemens Medical, Motorola, Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Leo Burnett, IBM, Navistar, Chicago Public Schools and City of Chicago, Bosch, State Farm, Chicago Public Schools and the City of Chicago. Professionals from Indianapolis, Columbus, Detroit, Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Omaha, etc. are regular attendees — bringing together interest from the greater mid-west.
