Thanks for the update on this. Nice to see it’s improved somewhat in recent years. Seems like at least some kids nowadays will learn more about computers than merely how to use Microsoft Office.

That said, it still feels a bit strange how long it took them to change this stuff. I mean, I’m not exactly ancient (I’m only 26 at the moment), and the kinds of things kids are learning in IT now were definitely established when I was at school. Seems rather unfortunate that we’ve now got a lot of 20 something year olds who don’t know much about technology stuck in a society where knowing that stuff is pretty much vital for many good jobs.
