Brief
City of Dreams is a unique blockchain-based and decentralized metaverse that fully merges the virtual and real world, enabling everyone to open real word businesses within the metaverse without requiring them to possess the knowledge or resources necessary on the blockchain. It aims to bring an entirely new dimension of virtual reality to the realm of online and traditional businesses with a sustainable model to help them increase traffic and customer base. The city’s futuristic and state-of-the-art design foreshadows the future of the internet and the vision of how entrepreneurs will do business.

Here are the Official Rules and Guidelines for the City of Dreams Logo Design Competition:
Objectives
This competition aims to challenge COD designers to capture the identity, principle, and purpose of the City of Dreams in an exceptional and enduring logo.
Its goal is to generate a logo design for COD which will be used in signages, collaterals, websites, merchandise, and other applications.
The competition also aims to be a platform that COD can use to tap talented individuals in the industry of graphic design.
Eligibility
Any member of the COD community can enter the competition. All participants must be a member of Discord or Telegram Community and follow City of Dreams social platforms.

Submission
The following guidelines must be followed by all submissions. Starting December 1, 2022, you can fill out this registration form >> Logo Design Competition.
Submit your entry on or before Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 12MN GMT +8.
Specifications
- One .jpg, .png, or .tif file containing the logo in both black and white and color on a white background (no transparency) in an 8 x 11 or letter-size format with a resolution of 300 dpi.
- Logo’s documentation (a brief explanation of the logo’s symbolism, as well as the designer’s original concept and intent).
Criteria for Judging
🌟 Creativity & Originality — 40 points
🌟 Relevance to the Theme — 30 points
🌟 COD Color and Tones — 20 points
🌟 Overall Impression- 10 points
Winning Design & Finalists Prizes
🌟Winning design $200 USDT and a COD NFT $200 worth.
🌟 4 Finalists who do not win will each receive $25 as consolation.
Creating a Jury, Narrowing the Field, and Selecting the Winner
To judge the entries, COD will convene the members of the core team and advisors. After the deadline for submission, we’ll share the names of the five (5) finalists who made the cut. Just keep an eye out for announcements on our official platforms.
The community will then decide on the winning logo by casting their votes for the design of their choice, and the prize will be presented to the designer who garnered the most votes.
The winning design creator agrees to two revisions to the design and to submit a high-resolution file of the design in JPEG, PNG, or TIF format and a PSD file before releasing prizes.

Acceptance
Each Contestant irrevocably accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and Guidelines, as well as all applicable Intellectual Property Rights Laws, by entering the competition. By entering the Competition, each entrant represents and warrants that he or she has read, understands, and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
After the winning design has been announced, all rights to the design, including copyright, ownership, right to alter, and right to use, will be transferred to the City of Dreams.
All submissions must be original and not based on previously published work.
By entering, each contestant certifies that his or her submission is original. By entering the competition, participants grant the City of Dreams permission to use their work in promotional materials for the competition. However, until a submission is declared the winner, each designer retains any intellectual property rights to their work. The winning entry will be registered as a trademark by City of Dreams, and the designer agrees to transfer all rights and ownership of the Entry to City of Dreams.
As a condition of entering the Competition, each entrant represents and warrants that:
- He or she is the sole and exclusive owner (and free from any adverse claim by any person, firm, or corporation) of all intellectual property rights in and to the Entry.
- The Entry is original, and the use of the Entry as described in these Official Rules and Guidelines will not infringe the proprietary rights, including without limitation the intellectual property rights, of any third party.
Representation and Warranty Disclaimer and Liability Limitation
By entering the Competition, the contestant confirms that he or she meets all eligibility requirements and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and Guidelines.
Participant hereby indemnifies, defends, and holds harmless COD from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind, including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury, and/or death, arising out of participant’s breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant contained in these Official Rules and Guidelines; or (ii) participation in the Competition; or (iii) acceptance and/or use or misuse of any prize in connection with the Competition.
By participating in the Competition, the entrant acknowledges and agrees that COD is not responsible for, and will not be held liable for, late, illegible, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, corrupted, or otherwise invalid entries.
City of Dreams maintains the right to disqualify any entry it deems to be in violation of these rules.
