Sport’s Elite College Coaches to Lead Instructional Sessions
Baltimore, Md. (September 12, 2019) — Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced today the agenda and list of featured college coaches for the inaugural Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Call Back Academy at the River City Sportsplex in Midlothian, VA on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
Activities feature on-field instructional sessions led by premier college coaches as well as showcase games. The academy also includes educational seminars on topics such as strength and conditioning, NCAA recruiting and sports psychology.
The instructional sessions will be led by some of the sport’s premiere names including men’s college coaches Kevin Corrigan (Notre Dame), Dave Pietramala (Johns Hopkins), Andy Shay (Yale), and Charley Toomey (Loyola). The girls’ sessions will be guided by Cathy Reese (Maryland), Jen Adams (Loyola), and Janine Tucker (Johns Hopkins).
A strength and conditioning session will be directed by Jay Dyer, the strength and conditioning coach for the Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse team. Dyer is also the Director of Sports Performance at Union Memorial Sports Medicine and serves as the strength and conditioning coordinator for the United States’ men’s and women’s senior and U-19 lacrosse teams.
Each participant will receive an Under Armour package of apparel and accessories, including a bag, pinnie, T-Shirt, socks and shorts.
The 2019 UA All-America Call Back Academy is limited to the first 600 boys and girls that register. Activities will be organized for players in the two divisions, for each gender — the Command Division and Highlight Division. The Command Division includes players from the 2022 and 2023 high school graduation years, while the Highlight Division features the 2020 and 2021 players.

Friday, November 8
4:00–9:00 pm: Player Check-In (Headquarters Hotel)
- Gear Distribution for All Players (Bag, Pinnie, T-Shirt, Socks and Shorts)
- Event Schedule and Team Assignments available for All Players
Saturday, November 9
6:30–7:30am: Rise and Grind — Optional stretch and light workout
8:00–9:30am: Breakfast for All Players (Headquarters Hotel)
- Presentations on NCAA Recruiting and Sports Psychology
- Overview of schedule and activities then depart for fields (River City Sportsplex)
10:30am-12:30pm: Lacrosse Instruction and Rotating Station Work (instruction led by Division I college coaches)
11:00am/2:00pm: NCAA Recruiting and Compliance Sessions for Parents
12:30–2:00pm: Lunch for All Players
2:00–5:50pm: Showcase Games (minimum two games for each player)
6:00 pm Departure
