Take a look back at this year’s CUBE Tech Fair’s best bits — from the tech that’s changing the world to the speakers that are shaping the way we think about industry 4.0.

Over 5,000 tech thought leaders from across the world descended on Berlin to watch 250 deep-tech startups pitch for €1m, and to hear from 105 speakers including founders, entrepreneurs, policy makers and corporates.

That’s right… We gave away €1 million!

Enlitic, a company who use machine learning for diagnostic healthcare, beat off startups from 38 different countries over three rounds, eventually pitching directly to The Woz in the final!

Huge congrats to NavVis and Green City Solutions who also made the final.

There were competitions. Workshops. Matchmaking innovation tours.

We of course let our hair down, too…

Some of our favourite panels discussed white hat hacking and what these professionals fear in their sector, what one of the oldest sectors — agriculture — will look like, and what the helpful and harmful effects of human-robot interactions in the long and short-term will be. Plus we loved the keynotes from Steli Efti, the co-founder and CEO of Close.io, and José Mariano López-Urdiales, Founder and CEO at Zero 2 Infinity.
