This story hit home. I was the one without the phone for years, the person looking at the sunrise while he messaged friends. I maintained that for several years and felt a sense of pride that I am one of the few that walk while looking where I am going. Years later I find myself watching him play on his phone, so I got a phone and he plays on his and I play on mine in restaurants while we wait for dinner to be served.

Quality time.
