I saw the Banksy Documentary on HBO that chronicled his “30-Day Art Tour” in NYC, where he secretly posted graffiti throughout the most elusive neighborhoods in the city, mostly nondescript one’s that veered too closely upon dangerous.
In one decrepit East New York, Brooklyn neighborhood, (pre-gentrification era), a Homeless Man “discovered” Banksy’s Artwork and hid it behind a large piece of cardboard to charge out-of-towners $5.00 to view it.
They were all too happy to pay.
Other inspired artwork included a small white delivery truck with a 3-D oasis of a beautiful menagerie concealed inside, seemingly out of place nestled within the Chinatown/Chelsea neighborhoods of obscurity, bordering the edge of the Holland Tunnel entrance.
Only Creatives can truly appreciate his Art — as well as his Genius!
