STICKET.IN wins Startup Braga and secures seed investment from Caixa Capital
Social ticketing marketplace to attack the U.S Market
Lisbon, 14th July 2015 — Closing the Startup Braga Acceleration Program, which brought together start-ups, early stage investors and angels, Caixa Capital announced STICKET.IN as the most promising startup of the 2015 Edition.
STICKET.IN is a social event ticket search engine that allows users to buy, sell, swap and compare the best ticket prices for the event they are looking for on a simple, intuitive and social platform. At STICKET.IN, users can find a wide variety of tickets for various types of events such as national and international concerts, festivals, football games, private events and everything related to the world of entertainment. The multiplicity of channels and outlets available with scattered and difuse information of other competitors allows STICKET.IN to ensure competitive advantage by presenting a format in which bets on the aggregation and comparison of the best opportunities in the industry.
With a considerable growth over the last months, STICKET.IN has also established significant partnerships in the online world such as Viagogo, Ticketbis, Worldticketshop among others. Furthermore, STICKET.IN’ team does constant deep analysis of all users and their friends to get accurate recommendations.
As winner of the Startup Braga Acceleration Program 2015 Edition, STICKET.IN is assured € 100.000 in investment from Caixa Capital, and will be eligible to compete for an additional € 100.000 in financial support at the Caixa Empreender Award event to be held in January 2016, in addition to other potential and substantial funding rounds.
