Oh my gosh, I could not love this article more! As someone who works in the international development field it was so refreshing to see this article! So often donors are misguided in their giving and don’t know what will make the most impact. This is a great explanation and illustrates what we are always trying to get across to our grantees, that doing “good” development is supporting the local market/economy which in turn helps to ensure long-term, sustainable results.
