UAE Minister of State Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan meets with Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), recently visited Lusaka, Zambia’s capital city, to meet with President Hakainde Hichilema. The conference provided an opportunity to improve bilateral relations and debate strategies for promoting progress and prosperity for both nations and their populations.

During the meeting, Sheikh Shakhboot conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of esteemed UAE leaders, including President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This gesture demonstrated the UAE’s commitment to building mutually beneficial partnerships and cooperation with Zambia.

The meeting served as a forum for both leaders to reconfirm their commitment to working together on topics such as climate change, sustainable development, and regional stability.

Also meeting between Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan and President Hichilema was a watershed moment in UAE-Zambia ties. It reaffirms the UAE’s commitment to promote global collaboration and solidarity, while also highlighting Zambia’s potential as an important African partner.
