Airdrop/Whitelist Complete Guide — Shade Protocol (Secret Network)
Update: Airdrop details have been released.
- Secret ($SCRT), Atom ($ATOM), Luna ($LUNA) stakers are eligible for receiving the Shade airdrop.
- Snapshots will occur between November 7th 5:00 pm. (UTC +0) through December 13th at 5:00 pm (UTC +0)
- You need to stake for the entire duration of the November 7th — December 13th range.
- Airdrop equation will not be revealed until after all snapshots are complete.
- No minimum staking requirement for airdrops.
- Exchange validators (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken) are not eligible for the airdrop.
Extra airdrop bonus for those who meet the following criteria:
- Stake outside of the top 10 nodes of $SCRT, $ATOM, $LUNA
- Do not stake with 0% commission nodes inside of the top 25 validators on any network

Secret Network is a blockchain focused on privacy and capable of offering smart contracts. You can think of it as Monero ($XMR) with smart contracts.
The project today, Shade Protocol, is an upcoming algorithmic stablecoin project on Secret Network. It is very similar to the $LUNA/$UST model on Terra.
Tweets from Secret Network have confirmed that there will be airdrops for $SCRT and $ATOM stakers. The exact snapshot time will be announced on Oct 11, so there will be plenty of time.

Getting started:
Get your Kepler wallet Chrome extension here and create your account.
Switch your network to Secret Network and you can find your address.
Step 1:
You will need to get $SCRT on your Secret Network wallet. There are two ways you can do that.
- Get $SCRT on Binance and send it to your address on Secret Network. (Update: Binance just resumed their $SCRT withdrawal, go straight to step 2 if you withdraw from Binance.)
- Bridge your assets from BSC or Ethereum to your Secret Network address via the Secret Network Bridge. It is best to bridge $BNB if you are from BSC.
You will need some minor amount of $SCRT as gas. Go to the #secret-pizza channel at the Secret Network discord server and ask for some $SCRT. (This is not a faucet. Community members from Secret Network will send to you some $SCRT manually if you ask.)
Now swap your bridged assets for $sSCRT at Secretswap.
You need to convert your $sSCRT to $SCRT. First click “Stake” at your Kepler wallet.
Then under “Secret Network”, choose “Secret SCRT”. Convert your $sSCRT to $SCRT here.
Step 2:
Click “Stake” at your Kepler Wallet.
Go to “Stake” and choose a validator to delegate your $SCRT.
