Introduction

Optimism (Twitter : https://twitter.com/optimismPBC) is an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution . Optimism and Arbitrum both use the Optimistic Rollup technology.

Rules

Optimism Quests are an event where you can earn NFTs on Galxe by using various projects on Optimism. A total of 18 projects are involved in this campaign.

Why should we do these quests? Holding these NFTs may be one of the criteria to getting the remaining 14% of $OP supply allocated as airdrop to users. (5% have already been airdropped at the end of May 2022.)

Getting Started:

If you don’t have the Optimism network on your MetaMask, go add it at https://chainlist.org/.

If you don’t have any $ETH on optimism, you’ll have to bridge over some $ETH. You can use Orbiter to do it which doesn’t have a token.

Step 1:

We begin by entering the Optimism Quest Hub at https://app.optimism.io/quests.

Step 2:

Click “Start quest” on one of the quests. We demonstrate with Stargate.

Step 3:

Click “Start quiz” and answer the questions. If you chose the wrong answer, you can try again.

Step 4:

Now let’s go to Stargate to actually complete the bridging.

Step 4:

We can then “Get NFT”.

Click “Claim”.

Step 5:

And that’s the Stargate quest.
