Introduction

Sei (Twitter : https://twitter.com/SeiNetwork) is DeFi-specific Layer 1 on Cosmos. Sei optimizes its chain for a class of DeFi protocols instead of attempting to create a one-size-fits-all solution.

Rules

Sei will be distributing 1% of all tokens to beta testers. We are now on to Act 4 of their incentivized testnet which started on Oct 28. Below you can see the missions for getting the airdrop. Read here for the official article.

Guide

Getting Started:

As Sei is on Cosmos, we will be using Keplr wallet. Install here if you don’t have it.

Now go to https://trade.vortexprotocol.io/ and tap “Connect Wallet”.

The Sei Testnet will then be added automatically. Switch to Sei Testnet on your Keplr to see your address.

Now join their Discord and go to #🚰│atlantic-1-faucet channel.

We’ll need to send out two messages. Replace seiXXXX with your address.

To claim SEI and aUSDC:

!faucet seiXXXX

To claim UST2:

!faucet ust2 seiXXXX

Step 1:

Now go back to https://trade.vortexprotocol.io/trade/ATOM-UST2 for our trading. Deposit 1000000 UST to our Vortex account.

Step 2: (Place limit order)

Now we complete our first mission of placing (up to 5) limit orders.

Remember to save your transaction hash.

Now fill in the form at https://forms.gle/bWus5YH6S87LmZBY9.

Select “Place 5 limit orders on Vortex (long or short in any market)” as your mission.

Input your 5 txn hash at “Proof of Completion”.

For “Proof of completion (Screenshot)”, upload a similiar pic like this to Imgur.

For the referral part,

Grandparent address is the address that referred you to Sei testnet. For example, you can use my address (sei1n5u9stnqsnwe2l5mj8t0uvcckm9tgmryrjf7n4) here if you like.

Parent address is your address.

Child address is the address you referred like your friend’s address.

Step 3:

For other trading tasks, the flow is the same as above. Some tasks like bundled orders and smart contracts require some technical knowledge so you might want to skip them.
