So you’re really grateful for a piece written that agrees with you? The usual #notallmen is pretty relevant when feminists like DeVore are generalizing about all men. Maybe you should listen to people’s actual opinions on these topics rather than classifying them all as #notallmen. If you want a real opinion, and not just some feminist propaganda, I can offer you mine:

Often people do things that are wrong to other people. And sometimes they do those things because of the other person’s sex, gender, race, national origin, religion, creed, etc. But to posit a society-wide yet insidious force called Satan/Patriarchy/Rape Culture is unnecessary. People who say women are inferior to men can be disproven by showing them many examples of women who have achieved what men have achieved. People who say that a woman’s place is any specific place can be laughed at for their foolishness. People who commit violence to others based on things outside of the other’s control can be punished.

When you go out and say, “Patriarchy is real.” you have the burden of proof. Feminists try to get around this burden by saying, “anyone who disagrees with me just proves my point”. When you think sloppily and slip into solipsism, no matter who you are, people are going to call you out for it. But feminists view this calling-out as yet more proof of their rightness. It’s the same thing with the Abrahamic religions. Unless you’re a Unitarian, just think about the tenet of, “people will hate you because they know you’ve been saved.”
