As an admissions ambassador for New York University’s (NYU) Office of Admissions, NYU student Cameron Deahl gives prospective students and their families tours of the campus and fulfills other administrative duties. In addition to his on-campus job, Cameron Deahl serves as a marketing and programming intern for MUBI.

Operating on the belief that, “Life is too short for bad films,” MUBI is a streaming service that brings a curated selection of classic, independent, and cult movies to users in more than 200 countries around the world. Each day, subscribers receive access to a new award-winning movie, which remains available for viewing for a full month. Heavily curated, the service only makes available 30 movies at a time, for a film-festival-like experience.

MUBI has drawn a large audience made up of festival-goers, filmmakers, students, and devoted film fans who are passionate about the cinema. In the United States, the streaming service can be viewed via Roku, PlayStation, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, Android, and more. Further, MUBI’s magazine entitled Notebook covers both contemporary and classic films in depth and serves as a guide to subscribers who want to know more about the movies they watch through the service.
