Soy wax is derived from the oil of soybeans, a natural and renewable resource that is harvested, cleaned, cracked, dehulled, and rolled into flakes.
From these flakes, the oil is extracted and then hydrogenated, a process that raises the melting point of the oil to where it becomes a solid at room temperature.
The end result, soy wax, the perfect ingredient to make your candles last longer and burn cleaner.
Why do we use soy wax in our wax melts?
It’s not just because it’s a natural product, but also because it’s eco-friendly, renewable and made in Wales.
Many soy candles and melts contain a mix of paraffin or beeswax because soy wax has a relatively lower melting point. But our wax melts are 100% soy because they are supposed to melt! By using purely soy, we ensure that our melts and their production are eco-friendly.
