60% of Americans feel that there’s a need for a viable 3rd party. http://www.gallup.com/poll/165392/perceived-need-third-party-reaches-new-high.aspx

There are now more Independent voters than voters in either major party. http://www.gallup.com/poll/166763/record-high-americans-identify-independents.aspx

Both candidates are loathsome, according to a majority of Americans. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/general_election_trump_vs_clinton-5491.html

The Dem party did not come out of the primaries looking good. Many people’s eyes were opened by the way the DNC handled things, from start to finish. And the Repub party has long branded itself the party of bigotry & backwardness.

CA is not a swing state. Hillary will win CA. There is no reason for CA voters to fill out their ballots based only on fear of President Trump. There are, however, very compelling reasons to vote Green since we can’t vote for Bernie (as I understand it, CA disallows write-ins in general election). http://www.jill2016.com/platfor mhttp://www.ontheissues.org/Jill_Stein.htm

Is Jill going to win? …Nah. But if we truly want an alternative to the 2 crappy parties we have now, we must support & strengthen a 3rd. This means voting for a 3rd party candidate, especially in states like CA, where it’s not a horrific gamble… or as some argue, a “vote for Trump.”
