Copenhagen Open 2018

Left, for next year, we’d like to see chequered merchandise, like this young lady wore today. I’ll be first in line. Centre, great work by the tournament leaders and right, it took a lot of time to set up the chessboards- the invisible hands were busy until very late Friday night. Thanks to everybody who contributed.
Left, medals all around. Centre, the guard was unhappy about children playing under the stage and right, Henrik, joking with the players during the demo games. (Check out that tie!)
Left, you lose a bet, you win a medal. Centre, the magnificent rooms lent a wonderful atmosphere to a successful event. Right, tournament leader gets challenged.
A big thank-you to Rikke Heine, left, who has worked tirelessly helping children to gain access to the intellectual stimulation, the emotional challenges and the wonderful camaraderie that chess has brought to so many children.
Tusind tak til Jørgen Glenthøj som har lagt lokaler til Copenhagen Open 2018. Bænken kommer fra Skt. Thomas Plads, længere ned af Frederiksberg Alle.

Tak til alle!
