Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has had a great year, especially with the ban getting lifted in New York. Many promotions lobbied and fought the battle to bring professional MMA to New York so it should be no surprise that the UFC has added another date for 2016, bringing them to New York twice before the end of the year.

The dates were announced last Friday when it was announced Michael Bisping would be defending his title against Dan Henderson on October 8 in England. The UFC has dates set for Mexico, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Brazil, and Canada.

They have been to all those other places before but anyone that followed the fight for MMA in New York and are aware of the significance of that November card at Madison Square Garden. They will also be in Albany the following month according to the UFC’s calendar.
