32 Chapters Making a Difference

Care to Learn was founded in 2008 by local businessman and philanthropist, Doug Pitt. After hearing some sobering statistics on poverty in his hometown of Springfield, MO, he knew he had to do something. From there, Care to Learn was established.

Throughout the next seven weeks, we’ll dive a little deeper into the 7 Reasons Why You Should Support Care to Learn. First up, the 32 chapters already hard at work.

When Care to Learn was founded, the only chapter was in Springfield, MO. In just 9 years, Care to Learn has grown by more than 3,100%.

That is a ROI anyone can get behind. The investment? Kids in our community.
