What Did You Do This Past Week?

This past week has been getting quite busy. I did a lot of work with my chemistry class since I haven’t taken Chemistry in over five years. I got back from vacations the week before, so I have just been getting back into my regular workflow. I worked at my internship before classes started, did a couple of practice interviews, and I had an interview with a company on Friday.

What’s In Your Way?

I need to read up on the new tools we will be using for this class. Looking at the syllabus, I find myself somewhat unfamiliar with some of the tools we will be using, so I definitely need to read up on them.

What Will You Do Next Week?

Next week I have work, classes, and on Friday I will be missing class to go on a flight to San Francisco! I will also be starting new projects / assignments from classes and trying to finish up everything on time for that weekend trip.

What Are Your Expectations For This Class?

My expectations are high for this class. Professor Downing seems like an amazing lecturer who I can learn a lot from. I hope to learn a lot about docker and C++, plus a couple of tools that are often used in the SWE realm.

What’s Your Pick-Of-The-Week or Tip-Of-The-Week?

Check your deadlines and put everything in a calendar! I have been trying to organize everything by dates so I can optimize my time better, and it has been super helpful.
