I am back after a couple of weeks.

Missed the Billfold. I have been doing a placement for school — and all of the webpages were blocked. And by the time I get home, the last thing I wanted to do is to go on my computer.

This is the first month where I have committed to aggressively paying down my student loan. I knocked out my credit cards last pay period, and freed up more income to throw at the student loan. This month, I have put $801.96 to my loan (2.3 X my min. payment). It feels good, but it feels WEIRD. I am WAITING for that number on my loan account to get updated — I want to see how it gets applied. Logically, to my outstanding interest ($45) and then to my principle — we will see.

This weekend, I am going to be getting prepared for another busy week — summers, amirite? I have some grocery shopping to do, shopping for camping, RELAXING. Just a general reset.

Depending on if I am working or not (waiting for a research participant to email me back), I might go to use the open studio for my pottery class to work on my throwing skills.

My spending this weekend is going to look like this:

Gas: $20.00
Groceries: $100.00
Camping stuff: $40 (we’re going camping NEXT weekend and I want to prepare a little)
Coffee: $10
Take out: $15

Total: $185.00
