Holly, I love your work (most of it), so I was delighted to see this article making so many connections.

I would like to make a little correction, though. The year of the first Miss America Protest (not connected to Miss Universe) that put the Women’s Liberation Movement on the map was 1968 and not 1969. Take it from one who was there, that Wiki article has a lot of errors. You can read my take on it here:
