Carol is a writer, a journalist, and an editor for Los Nietos Press, a small press for local writers which she co-founded with her husband. She’s active in the local arts community and co-produced Make Music Downey, a local music festival, for three years. Carol’s family moved to southern California when she was five, but she thinks of herself as “bicoastal” because she is from the Northeast and returns often to visit. She loves the Sierras and hiking in the Mammoth and Yosemite areas.
