Times have changed, I remember living in a society where our community was smaller and more tight knit. We knew each-other better and where it was safe to walk outside without being confronted with potential danger. Children played outside with their friends from the local neighbourhood on their bikes Rather than being alone in their rooms .Seeing the your neighbour wave to the milkman and collet his daily newspaper and gossip over the fence about the women two doors down the street who had an affair with her gardener.
Most importantly, a society where everyone looked after each other and supported each other’s business.
I want you to think how often you use your mobile phone? Do you ever get nervous or antsy because you’ve accidentally left your phone at home? Do you sometimes promise yourself that you’re not going to use your phone but then find yourself using it anyway? All of these could be signs of nomophobia, the real name for smartphone addiction.
