Hello and welcome everyone.
We’re very excited to introduce ourselves to the world and can’t wait to get to know you all. In the coming weeks, you’ll learn much more about Casa, our tokenomics, value accrual mechanisms, NFT collections, launch plans, and more. Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s stick to the basics.
What is CASA?
Casa is a Social Impact DAO dedicated to building housing for those in dire need. We will be launching on the Juno Network in the coming months (yes, we are airdropping $Casa to Juno and $Atom stakers).
Background?
Casa is made up of leaders from multiple organizations helping to build housing in communities throughout North and Central America. From the outskirts of Tijuana, Mexico to the jungles of Honduras, we have a breadth of hands-on experience that will be critical in the ongoing operations and growth of Casa.
Who do we serve?
Casa places highest priority on housing single mothers and children. We operate in some of the poorest (financially speaking) and most dangerous regions in the world. We’re well aware of the issues homelessness and housing insecurity create and we’re determined to help provide a secure foundation for families to build upon. We’ve seen time and time again the difference housing stability can make for families. For us, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing hope restored in the eyes of a young child we just built a home for.
Value Accrual
In the coming weeks, you’ll begin to learn how Casa accrues value to the Casa Treasury and token. We’ll be utilizing a hybrid business structure to create and bring off-chain revenues and contributions on-chain to help build robust incentive systems. We’re extremely excited for the possibilities we can create and can’t wait to show you all more of our plans in the coming weeks.
Tokenomics
We approach tokenomics understanding that in order for Casa to succeed we need to build a robust ecosystem/economy around the $Casa token. Therefore, we need to strike a balance between inflation incentivization and generating multiple revenue streams to reward $Casa stakers, LP’s and holders. We believe crypto as a whole is moving away from the farm and dump model and looking for more organic and sustainble growth. As you’ll see when we release our Tokenomics, we believe in rewarding the community we’re building alongside (Juno) and those who believe in our vision.
