Ah! You were a flack. Do you know the slang terms hacks (news) and flacks (PR)? Do people still say them? I’m so out of touch sometimes :) I was a philosophy and English major in undergrad and almost everyone I know who majored in English work for the flack side now. Even all the ones who were previously hacks.
