Season of Creation Spotlight: Cebu, Philippines

In the Archdiocese of Cebu, Philippines, the Season of Creation was celebrated with a mass at the Sto. Niño Basilica. The mass was hosted by the Augustinian Fathers. Over 500 lay people attended, along with almost 200 religious sisters and priests.

The mass was organized by the Association of Men and Women Religious of Cebu.

This event, along with hundreds of others around the world celebrates the Season of Creation, when we’re called to prayerfully reflect on our role as protectors of the Earth. Christians around the world are standing together to address climate change and commit to sustainable stewardship of Creation.
