Mary Ann, I thought your piece was very interesting, but it also seems to me that some of your disagreements with the Google Memo author are based on a misreading. He repeatedly says that statistical averages should not be used to judge any person and that people should be treated as individuals, not members of a group or tribe. His argument on biological differences, I think, was mainly with regard to the underrepresentation of women in tech and leadership positions at Google.
