Who Am I?
I think the hardest questions to answer are the ones about yourself. If you asked me to describe the person sitting next to me, even if I barely knew the person, I could answer with ease. What makes this particular question, who am I, so difficult is that the answer is always changing. If you were to ask me 5 years ago I would have replied, “an Academic Advisor.” Today I am still and Academic Advisor but I’m also a mother of a beautiful 15 month old daughter, a wife to my loving husband of three years and a graduate student. Ask me again two years from now and I will still be an Academic Advisor (unless life takes me in a different direction), a mother (but maybe to more than one child), and a wife but no longer a graduate student. So, in order to answer this question more permanently I will simply say: I am a hard worker, a mother, a wife, and a lifelong learner.
