What is the primary obstacle to learning?

I was thinking that my primary obstacle to learning about this (Study Technology) was the language. Because I´m from Mexico, my native language is Spanish, so… it is difficult for my to express my feelings or thoughts in other language.

But i realise that is only a excuse. All my life i have been in “touch” with the English: songs, movies, TV, etc. USA is the neighbour country of Mexico, for me not master english right now, at my 27 years old. Is a problem.

So i discovered today, my real problem or my biggest obstacle to learning, not only English (language), learning any subject is fear to don´t be successful and my lack of compromise.

So i think is lack of compromise with myself, my primary obstacle to learning.

How would this attitude affect the person’s ability to actually learn something new about that subject?

I don’t really have an specific example about someone who felt he already knew all about something.

But many people that I known on the school or at work have this attitude and, obviously, is a problem to everyone who is around them or learning at the same place.

People who have the feeling to know something, refuse to learn more about a subject and sometimes their opinions are wrong.

So there is the problem and actually i have been guilty sometimes, but you need to understand that is impossible to know all about something and have in mind that there are always something new you can learn.
