Oh man this is so familiar.

It took me many years to accept that hair products are something I need (“need”) to spend $$$ on. Right now, I use Alterna Caviar Replenishing Moisture shampoo & conditioner (I only buy the sample size of the shampoo at a time, since I use it way less frequently) and DevaCurl Styling Cream. I also spend a lot ($75) for my haircut, but my amazing stylist is a rare gem who knows what’s up with cutting curls. She gave me the curly bob of my dreams last time I saw her! (Which was back in November. Been putting off a new haircut because…$75.)
