Do you know about Lilith? Before I generated my free Astrological chart with Dynamic Astrology, my birth chart or natal chart was missing this controversial dark mistress of Adam’s.

Lilith’s name is not included in the creation story of the Torah but she appears in several midrashic texts. Her symbolism, history and literature are debated among Jewish scholars, feminists and other intellectuals. There are multiple origin stories for Lilith but the most popular history told views Lilith as the first wife of Adam.

When Adam insisted she play a subservient role, Lilith grew wings and flew away …

Lilith can be seen as a destructive female symbol or a symbol of female power. It depends upon if she has gone right or if she has gone wrong, as with any other trait in astrology. She is not always representative of a planet or a celestial body, imaginary or otherwise, but can be a notable and literal point in your birth chart.

In Western Astrology, her placement in your chart is also referred to as your “Black Moon Lilith.” It is a point showing how the dark side of a personality plays out, according to the Constellation and the House that it is in.
