The Angelic Origins of the Soul” by Tricia McCannon is a substantial book of nearly 500 pages that explores wisdom throughout the ages related to the nature of God and human beings. Parts 1 and 2 take you on a journey through fantastic, vivid descriptions of near-death experiences. These parts also cover a lot of historical perspectives of the origins of the Soul.

In the NDE encounters, people report that they are taken to different planes of consciousness, transcending the physical world. The explorations of these energetic planes of different frequencies are mind-blowing. By harboring an open mind to such possibilities, we begin to realize that there is a lot more to being human than what we think.

“Heaven” has been known by many names, such as Valhalla, New Jerusalem, Shambhala, and the Elysian Fields. The Greeks taught that between each lifetime the Soul visits a sacred meadow called the Fields of Asphodel in the higher realms. It is a transitional “in-between state” between earthly life and the other dimensions before reincarnation.

“Hell” is a lower region of the astral plane in Tibetan Buddhism, a place of negative self-delusion where the Soul is so lost in shadow that the light from the higher realms cannot easily break through.
