Night-shadow heaved the bag of bats onto the Moon Mobile. He got into the driver’s seat and put the pedal to the metal.
He didn’t notice that Cat-nap had jumped onto the Moon Mobile’s tray. She had had enough of scraps and desired bat-wing soup.
Cat-nap tried to pick up the bag of bats, but it was too heavy. She espied a crate and placed the neck of the bag inside it. With her sharp claws, the hungry cat undid the rope tying the bag, getting ready to grab a bat when it flew out into the crate.

I respect all Life on Earth and have books and many figurines on animals.
This beautiful pewter Shire Horse is quite heavy and in mint condition, a stunning old, long retired original Wildlife Sculpture, circa 1980s.
The Horse is approx. 3 3/4 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches high.
This horse of course reminds me of Bill, the Shire pony in the “Lord of the Rings”.
Royal Hampshire Foundry is well known for its pewter military figures, but it also manufactured some wildlife sculptures.

How to find the Medium-run Collections and Anthologies
In November 2018, when I found Medium, through a writer sharing their story in a Facebook group, I was immediately hooked. I was hooked because I LOVE reading.
The Medium-run Publications, like One Zero, Elemental, and Human Parts got me in, as well as the Anthologies and Collections that were promoted then.
At that time, the Medium-run Publications were heavily promoted, with links to these publications at the top of your Medium homepage.
And the music was soothing, and they all started grooving
1976–1982 were my teen years! Yes, those were the days of the “Sweet” and “Abba”, and pop music and glam pop got me through my teen angst.
In 1979 Sony released its first Walkman. This little personalised number held hours of musical happiness on the cassette tapes that it played. We took turns in my family, listening to songs on our treasured expensive family Walkman. Thanks Sony, for making music listening so portable.
