PayPal and Squarespace

Today Squarespace launched a beta integration of Paypal as another payment method in the checkout for your Online Store.

Paypal provides a secure and trusted way to make purchases and with it being apart of Squarespace, your customers will have an additional method for making a payment.

The transaction fee for all purchases made using the Paypal method is 2.9% plus $0.30 USD of the amount you receive. For example, if your Online Store receives a charge for $100.00 USD by credit card, the fee would be $3.20 USD ($2.90 + $0.30).

Keep in mind that depending on what billing plan you have, Squarespace may also charge an additional fee for each transaction in your Online Store.

To begin offering Paypal as a payment method at checkout, you will need to have a Paypal Business account.

When you are ready to start accepting PayPal, you will need to connect your PayPal Business account to your Squarespace account by following the step in the here.
