There are days in life when people face countless failures and everything they ever dreamt of become pointless, evey belief seems meaningless and every single ray of hope starts to turn into thin air, leaving a lacuna — waiting to be fulfilled by something, something alive and fresh.

At a stage, when people feel desperate and depressed.

Or worse, worthless.
When they find nothing but despair and anger in their system and hit the state of self-hatred, or end up having a pessimistic view of life — like there is no soul or emotion left in them except limitless void.

While reading the poems of Allama Iqbal, Shikwa(Complaint) and Jawab e Shikwa(The answer of complaint) I realised that we do go through such situations more than once in our lives.
Each and every time, we should–we should–fight back, because there is no other choice.

For us– giving up isn’t an option.

Try to find the cause of your disturbance, find a cure.

Because the self-hatred, guilt, or any other kind of negative emotion is a direct result of our sins..

Our eternal enemy–Devil, by nature and in opinion is narcissistic and self-centred.

He thinks of human beings as some fools or annoying creatures with no knowledge or sense and he creates plans to catch you unguarded.

He wants to drown you, so that you never be able to get back.

Consequently, you will pay no attention to your real priorities, e.g Allah, society, your parents, children, partner, work, education or any kind of responsibility.

The whole point of our negative attitude is to bring us down. Think about it, the more you procrastinate the difficult it will be for you to help the society or even yourself.

Individuals make societies and the very same societies can create countries.

Wonder how backward your country would be if each and every member of society remains lazy?

Or even half of them?

What if they only pay attention to meet their own needs, luxuries ?

It’ll be selfish of them to be so ignorant of the great aim that is residing in front of them.

Har Koi Mast-e-Mai-e-Zauq-e-Tan Asani Hai,

Tum Musalman Ho? Ye Andaaz-e-Musalmani Hai?”

-‘Everyone here(Muslims) are indulged in luxuries, addicted to their easiness.

Is it what you call Muslim? Is it even the way of Muslim?’

If you look closely, and may Allah forgive us.. is it not really what’s happening to our society ?

We have become numb, so used to of easy life that even the idea of giving up on simple things, matters a great deal to us..

Yet.. we see ourselves yearning for the glorious past of our ancestors.

How is it even possible when even in our personal lives we have become so selfish ?
Haidari Faqr Hai Ne Doulat-e-Usmani Hai

Tum Ko Aslaaf Se Kya Nisbat-e-Rohani Hai?”

-‘You don’t desire the ‘fqr’ of Haider(Ali r.a) nor the generosity of Uthman(r.a)..

Then what kinship you claim with spirits of such great forbears?

Is it not true?
We crave the braveness of Ali(r.a) yet lack the knowledge and the strength like he had.

We desire to be as wealthy as Osman(r.a) but lack the generosity and Haya like he had.

Ali(r.a) was regarded as bab ul ilm (The door of knowledge) and Haider.

What are we ?

Koi Qabil Ho Tau Hum Shan-e-Kai Dete Hain

Dhoondne Walon Ko Dunya Bhi Nai Dete Hain!

-‘The royalty of Kai(A famous Iranian royal family) is given to those who actually fulfill the merit.

When a person intent to look, Allah do provide him with a new world.’

The cut of the diamond always depends on the skill of its craftsman.

What are our skills exactly ?

Where is our talent? Is it only limited to social media wars, or are we just using it for selfish purpose ?

Yun To Syed Bhi Ho, Mirza Bhi Ho, Afghan Bhi Ho

Tum Sabhi Kuch Ho, Batao To Musalman Bhi Ho!

-‘You are known as Syed, and Mughal, you call yourselves Afghan;

But can you truly claim as well the name of Mussalman?’

How many of us actually care about our societies or Ummah and not personal gains?

We do take pride on our ‘ethnicities’ but always forget that at the end of the day it’s only our ‘Taqwa’ that will come handy.

Remember the last sermon of Prophet Muhammed saww?

“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.” -Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him)

But-Shikan Uth Gaye, Baqi Jo Rahe But-Gar Hain

Tha Ibrahim Pidar, Aur Pisar Aazar Hain

-‘Those idol‐breakers all have gone, You idolaters are left.

Abraham was the father, you, His sons are but Azar(father of Ibrahim a.s)’

The lust of power, greed of wealth, ego-wars and small addictions are our idols.

We worship them and claim to be idol-breakers.

As a human , we become anxious and troubled and ends up adding more fuel on our problems.

What exactly a person can do to eliminate such obstacles ?
To tackle down an unwanted enemy? To get away from felonious intentions?

The answer lies with the drowning man..what can he do to save his life? Either he learn how to swim or he punch the devil so hard that he lose his balance . To defeat devil, you need to firmly hold the rope of Allah and his messenger saww.

No one can turn themselves perfect overnight, it’s a continuous struggle.

One which we have to carry on throughout our life, to reach our destiny.

Take it as a game, you know how in games we hunt for treasure , fight with villains and gain energy points and increase levels and finally reach our destination?

Life is just like that.

But

To play each game , you need to have strong willpower.

A self-confidence to be constantly patient and practical in your battle field.

Tip 1:

Find your will power, make it strong.

It’s your key, it will open treasures for you.

Without it, you will not be able to start the game, let alone continue it.

An easy and quick way is ‘ablution(wadhu)’.

Wudhu takes away most of our sins, leaving our spirit in light and good condition. It helps us to make good decisions and to work efficiently and on time.

The more clean you remain, spiritually and physically, the stronger your willpower will be.

Tip 2:

Increase your good deeds, if you can’t find anything to do…

Just recite durood.

People might make fun by saying that ‘look , that’s not how you bring change, it’s silly blah blah.”

They lie.

They are either ignorant or pessimistic beings you need to keep yourself away from–unless they happened to be your parents or relatives, then you better remain nice with them and just remain calm.

“It is not important who we are, what important is the cause of our creation and of course, The One and Only, our Creator.”

The reason of our creation is to worship Allah.
For that purpose, Allah blessed us with the leader like Prophet Muhammed saww.

He (saww) , the essence of our breaths–the best of best.. why do you think we have been asked to send salutations upon him(saww) in Quran?

Allah knows we are neglectful towards our duties, yet he provide us with simple methods so that we at least cling on our remaining faith … it’s like those energy levels you need to keep in order to face the devil or whatever problem you endure in this world.

Follow him, be kind and helpful like him(saww) and send salutations.. One way or another you’ll end up seeing positive changes in your life.

It’s not magic and doesn’t happen within days, it actually work more frequently than you can ever imagine. 🙂

Tip 3:

Organise yourself, be professional.

No matter what you do, which field you belong to or task you aim to complete.

Just focus on it.

Plan out your day or future.

Don’t even try to sail two ships at the same time. You’ll only end up getting hurt or dead..

See the possibilities, concentrate on positive aspects and try to prepare yourself for the worst.

If you are thinking about doing/completing a work.

Just do it.

When you take good care of your wudhu, initially your mind becomes used to of zeroed in on the matter at hand rather than anything else; the key helps you to stay focus.

Tip 4:

RESPECT YOUR ELDERS.

It’ll increase your level as well(in goodness), and you really need it to close the gap between you and your success.

Conclusion:

It’s a psychological war, each and every day of yours is a psychological trauma..

Your struggle–your failure is not for forever.

It’ll end, it has to.

Even if doesn’t, know that a new chapter will open, and the evil will die on its own but

until then you need to get a grip, to not let him drown you completely and break every possible strength left in you.

Woh Zamane Mein Mu’azzaz The Musalman Ho Kar

Aur Tum Khawar Huwe Taarik-e-Quran Ho Kar

Tum Ho Apas Mein Ghazabnak, Woh Apas Mein Raheem

Tum Khatakaar-o-Khatabeen, Woh Khata Posh-o-Kareem”

-‘They were honoured being Muslims, as they had true iman.

You live in disgrace cause you left Quran.

You bring wrath on each other, they were Merciful.

You commit error and critic..

they never exposed the sins and were ever kind.’

Be merciful, not just with strangers but in your personal life as well.
Thay Tou Aaba Woh Tumhare Hi, Magar Tum Kya Ho?

Hath Par Hath Dhare Muntazir-e-Farda Ho!

-‘These were your great progenitors; You lack their brain and brawn;

You sit and wait in slothful ease for every morrow’s dawn.’

Don’t be an idol.

Work on yourself, break your chains and become the idol-breaker.
