Fake News Watch — The Economist Can’t Even Fact-Check a Quote
The Economist wrote some lies about me, and in doing so humiliated themselves. In a really stupid article, they made a basic factual error. They claimed President Donald J. Trump praised my reporting. This never happened.
Mike Cernovich, another conspiracy theorist praised by the president (“in a long gone time of unbiased journalism he’d win the Pulitzer”), took a similar line and spread the phrase #SyriaHoax.
If The Economist can’t accurately attribute a publicly-available quote from Twitter, how can you trust them to do investigative journalism?
